We couldn't leave for Rome before we said a very big thank you for all the lovely euros you gave us and the many cards. We shall of course write to you all when we get back. We so enjoyed our party on Saturday but as we said a party is only as good as the friends and family who attend and with you all there, we couldn't go wrong so thank you all for coming and making it special.

Now what can we say about the dancers - fab, brill, awesome (to use but a few). Marj you did a brill job girl and thank you so much. A very special thanks to Dave, marj, Chris and sandra for helping John with all the decorating it looked fab. Many thanks to you all for taking the time to get to know my mum - she was chuffed to bits so thank you. We shall see you all when we get back and again sincere thanks from the heart to all of you for your kindness and making our night so special. Lots of love John and carol xxxx

Comments: hope everyone had a good time on the 10 March. Thought the food, service and venue was the best we have ever had for our dinner. Thanks to Dave, Marj, Porky and Pauline (our fellow committe members) for all their help in making it a wonderful night. We have booked the hotel for sat 8 December for the Christmas Dinner and obviously there will be more details regarding this later in the year. Can't wait to see the photos especially the "big friendly Lion". Hope you have all receovered and look forward to seeing you all soon.
